I was seized by a terrible fear<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll think that I\u2019ve gone off the straight and narrow, that I\u2019m getting a fat head… or worse still, that I read Sonic the Hedgehog comics in secret!<\/p>\n
Everyone will give up on me…! “<\/p>\n

\u00a0I went off into the deepest part of the forest<\/p>\n
– ” …what would it be like if I lost my reputation as a good Christian… “<\/p>\n
Silence…<\/p>\n
– “…Ok Lord… you can have that reputation… as long as I can stay friends with you “.<\/p>\n

The fragile branches that I cling to<\/strong><\/p>\n My ministry, my children, my wife, my possessions, my health, my reputation, (the list isn\u2019t in order of importance, by the way)<\/p>\n These are all branches that form my tree<\/p>\n If one day, the divine gardener were to lop one of them off:<\/p>\n It\u2019s true, I\u2019d suffer (no kidding),<\/p>\n but I wouldn\u2019t die either!<\/p>\n Because the main trunk of my life are in my relationship with Jesus.<\/p>\n \n There, far from the hustle and bustle of the city,<\/p>\n I felt a great peace come over me,<\/p>\n It was Jesus, reassuring me…<\/p>\n \n What about you, how are you doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n Have you lost an important branch of your life…(?)<\/p>\n Take courage, Jesus will never let you go, only He is invincible!<\/p>\n life, together with all the good things it\u2019s got in store, will return, you can be sure of that…<\/p>\n Beware of one thing, however:<\/p>\n Make sure that Jesus is not just one branch amongst others in your life\u2026..<\/p>\n \n If the axis upon which your life turns isn\u2019t solid,<\/p>\n When it\u2019s cut down…<\/p>\n (well…kabang! finito, kaput, sayonara…)<\/p>\n \n \n Mohamed<\/p>\n I was moving house and had loads of stuff.<\/p>\n – “Lord, could you send me some help, please? “<\/p>\n \n In the morning, I found a tall North African teenager (on vacation in the area) standing in the doorway :<\/p>\n – “Can I help you?! “<\/p>\n He asked, in a pleasant tone. He\u2019s from a non-practicing Muslim family…<\/p>\n but he still heard God\u2019s voice<\/p>\n What about you?
